Corn Silage

Corn Silage

Corn silage is made from stems, leaves, corn, kelp, corn husks, cobs and ferment in composting bags or composting pits. It is one of the most valuable forages for ruminant livestock and it is used wherever maize can grow, from temperate regions to the tropics.

Corn silage has high-quality fiber content and high energy. It’s one of the most economical forages producers can grow based on yield and energy value. Corn silage should be dark green to slightly brown, pleasant smell with a slight vinegar odor.
